The other reason is that I have changed my approach to work, so I am not nearly as stressed as I used to be. Before, I was killing myself trying to accomplish as much as possible, but my contribution was not recognized. So, after adjusting my pace at work, I am still completing an amazing amount of work, but I finish my workdays feeling calm, and having more energy to do fun things at home.
Thankfully, I was able to realize this pretty quickly and adjust my approach. A lot of people get in the position of giving their all to their work and sacrificing the things that are really important, like health, family and happiness. I am not going to let that happen to me!
